Neighborhood News:

- To keep abrest of the studies and hearings related to the widening of Route 7 behind Evergreen Meadows, please check the VDOT webpage for information:  www.virginiadot.org/projects/northern%20virginia/default.asp.  This site will notify you to the timing and plans of the widening and when VDOT will be testing for sound issues related to the widening of Route 7.  There is not any information on this project as of today - August 1.  Check back occasionally to keep informed when the project begins.  It is slated for a fall 2010 design and study phase through summer 2011. - Tosha Woodard was appointed to the Board of Directors at the July meeting to fill the seat by a resignation of a previous Board Member.  Please join us in congratulating her. (posted July 2)

- Several small social events are coming up beginning in late July.  Please let a board member know if you are interested in assisting with these events.

- Please communicate any concerns you have about the community to a board member or to our management company via Lily Lombardo at 703-437-5800. Our goal is to provide a comfortable community for all to enjoy! (posted May 18)

Upcoming Neighborhood Events:

Aug. 31 - Makos fund-raiser at Tenderjacks (THIS IS A CHANGE) from 5pm-9pm.  Makos receive 10% of all sales.  Makos will run a slide show at 7pm.

Sept. 3 - Makos will be selling concessions at the pool beginning at 5:30pm.  Come support the swim team, or just come enjoy refreshments for a low price.

Sept. 6 - Kindergarten Meet-N-Greet at the playground common area.  Time: 10am-12pm.

Sept. 13 - ARB meeting (7:30pm).  Meeting is at 104 Max Ct.

Important Reminders:

- The Board recently approved a new Community Handbook. You should have received a copy in the mail around May 15, 2010. These rules apply to many aspects of our community. Please make sure you familiarize yourself with the new rules. Thank you!
